Villa La Collina - the wine
The red wine 
The castle La Collina has its own wineyard wich is specialized in producing the extraordinary chianti wine, Chianti dei Colli Senesi DOCG. The wine is prepared in winecellar of the castle, preserved in steel and oak containers which provides this unique caracteristics. The annual production is about 5000 bottles of Chianti dei Colli Senesi DOCG.
Vin Santo
Vin Santo is a sweet dessertwine wich is produced in Tuscany accordig to an old antique tradition. This special wine is prepared from an old kind of Trebbiano grapes, which get golden while maturing. The grapes are dried on reed from harvesting until Christmas. After that they are muched and put in small oakbarriques which are stored for three years. The result is fantastique! This wine in this quality is not for sale. Allthough a guest of the castle will have the opputunity to taste some of this Tuscan speciality.
