Villa La Collina is just in the very middle of all the most important towns and places in Tuscany. San Gimignano in 10 minutes away, Siena 15 minutes, Florence 45 minutes, Volterra is 30 minutes away. To the seaside, 80 km, one hour and a half. You can have a drive in the Chianti mountains and taste wine in the famous wine castles.
Poggibonsi is the nearest town, 7 minutes, where there is a big grocery store, Pam, just a couple of minutes away. You find everything in this town and there is a market on Tuesday morning. Also many restaurants and trattorias, some very famous and also very good and cheap ones. A near hospital.
There is a place to play tennis. You can rent bicycles and mountain bikes.
A golf course, Castelfalfi, with 18 hole, is 35 minutes away.
Just walking out of the gate, you can have one of the most fabulous walk on this country road, that can take you to San Gimignano, in an untouched countryside with a spectacular view of 360° and you see the towers of San Gimignano. Unique !
